Great video! More or less summarizes the situation on the border. What isn’t noted by the reporter is that one of the suspects recruited by the Gulf Cartel clearly has “X”, the Roman numeral for 10, and “3” tattooed on his lower legs. This is a clear indication of membership in MS-13.

x3 or 13 is not a clear indicator of ms membership. the reason ms has 13 in its name is because of its gang origins in southern california. all gangs south of delano california are surenos and indtify with the number 13, the fight each other on the street but in prison they band together. usually by cities( or in prison slang car) it is not uncommon in prison for 18th street and ms members to ride in the same car. it should be noted that gangs that indenfiy with 13 are controlled by the mexican mafia or la eme. the only non sureno gang south of delano is maravilla. the have been green lighted by the mexican mafia for not paying drug taxes. hence sureno gangs like 18 and ms can kill them. if a mara villa kills a soldier of a eme member he becomes a mara villian.
